Let the Bible come alive for you! Travel to Greece with Christian Scientists and their friends. Come, journey with the Apostle Paul -- Reach into the cool stream at Philippi where he worshipped with Lydia. Walk that same ancient Roman road he walked to Thessalonica. Experience Mars Hill, that rocky place where his words once rang out. Stand where he stood defending himself at Corinth. Pick up shells on the shore where he left for the magnificent pagan city of Ephesus. And sail those same deep blue waters he sailed as a prisoner to Rome.

You will see the cell where Paul and Silas were imprisoned and other archaeological sites in the area. You'll continue from there to Kavalla, the site of the ancient port of Neapolis where Paul arrived on his first journey to Macedonia. You'll have some time to stroll around this scenic port lined with cafes and shops before returning to Thessaloniki for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 - Today you will tour Thessaloniki where Paul preached and founded a church. You will visit the old city ramparts, the Archaeological Museum, St. George Church ( an ancient Roman monument transformed into a church), and the Galerius Arch which rises over the famous Via Egnatia. You will then visit the Church of St. Demetrios, built on the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Paul reasoned with the Jews. You will continue to the Church of St. Sophia which has a rostrum where Paul was believed to have delivered his sermons. Dinner and overnight will be in Thessaloniki.

Day 8 - Today you will visit the Island of Rhodes. As Paul's ship sailed into the harbor he would have seen the remains of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - Colossus, a huge brazen statue of Apollo so high that ships passed in full sail between its legs. The Rhodians tell how Silas healed a paralytic hero on a visit to this island.

Day 9 - This morning you will arrive in Kusadasi, Turkey and journey on to Ephesus, the center of emperor worship, and (due to the work of Paul and John), the center of Christianity in Asia Minor. You will see the Temple of Diana (Artemis), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will sail to Patmos to visit the Monastery of St. John and Grotto where it's said John wrote the Book of Revelation.

From there you will go the Archaeological Museum to see the monumental items found during the excavations at the site. You'll then drive to Athens for dinner and overnight.
